口蹄疫
1. 疾病描述
病因：
核醣核酸病毒科(Picornaviridae)口瘡病毒屬（Apthovirus）之口蹄疫病毒（FMDV）
年齡層：
任何年齡層均可發生。
臨床症狀：
1.偶蹄動物之高度急性傳染性疾病。
2.接觸、食入及空氣傳染。
3.高燒（升5～6℃）
4.口腔粘膜上水疱及糜爛－舌、唇、牙齦、咽、口蓋。
5.蹄、乳房、鼻吻、陰阜、陰囊水疱。
6.跛腳、脫蹄。
7.水疱破裂、皮破出血、露出糜爛的下層組織，無細感染恢復很快。
8.細菌感染則導致足變形。
9.發生率極高，死亡率低。僅仔豬易因心臟受侵害而大大提高。
解剖病變：
1.足部或口腔病變為多。
2.初期，水疱內充滿液體。
3.水疱破裂、脫皮。
4.心肌灰白斑－虎斑心。
感染性：
會傳染到其他豬隻

The Korean government has confirmed the first case of foot-and-mouth disease in southern central Korea in well over three years. Local government officials from Gyeongsangbuk-do Province say a pig at a farm in the region was confirmed to have contacted the disease after displaying symptoms. Hundreds of pigs at the farm, but not all of them, will be culled on this Thursday morning as a precautionary measure. Local and central governments will also strengthen quarantine measures to prevent the spread of the disease. This latest case come at a bad time for Korea as the country has been looking to boost its pork exports.
